FAQ

What is Home Staging?

Organizing and putting together a room or multiple rooms in a home that gives a positive energy of excitement and joy. Home Staging in return will help either sell or entertain for others.

Do I really need to stage my home?

Well that is really up to you, but staging a home can make a huge impact into creating more offers for your home. (That is if you are trying to sell) If you are looking only to stage for an event or holiday, the aesthetics can really make a positive impact with your guests. Our complimentary initial visit will help to determine what level of staging is best for your home.

Potential buyers want to imagine themselves living in your home, and the best way to do that is to depersonalize it. For some, this can be hard to accept, but it really works. Even the most smallest changes such as,organizing storage spaces, reducing clutter, and re-positioning of furniture is needed in nearly every home and can have a huge impact on how the house is viewed.

Your property will attract better offers, using recommendations which are based on actual design principles.

How long will it take to get my home ready?

After our consultation you will know what needs to be done and receive a proposal within 1 day. If you decide to have us come and do the work, once you have signed the contract and paid the deposit we will work on our scheduled date. If not, and want to make the adjustments yourself that is fine to. Either way is fine with us.

How long will the actual staging take?

The actual staging can be from 1 day to multiple days (depending on what is needed to be done.) But mainly just one solid work day.

Will staging help me attract more buyers?

YES! Staging your home will help not only attract more buyers, but receive more offers in a short time frame, which always makes the price go higher.

How much does it cost?

It really all depends on the amount of work that needs to be done. Every home is different, but once we take a look at your place you will have more of an idea on how much it would cost. Some of the factors that we put into the equation is location and square footage.

I haven’t got a lot of money to spend on presenting the house. Can you work with that?

Yes! We will work together to see what we can do in order to get you what your home needs, within your time and budget.

Should I make any changes to my home, before I contact a home stager?

Please don’t. Sometimes homeowners color the walls the wrong color and throw away things that would actually be beneficial for staging. Let the experts help you in finding the vision for your project.

When should I start thinking about preparing my house for sale?

Right now! If you want to sell your home, then now is the time to contact us.

My house is already on the market and I haven’t really had much interest. Is there still hope?

Of course! When you work with us there is always hope! Sometimes homes stay on the market for months, and then homeowners and/or real estate agents realize the house needs a bit of a face lift. Thats when we come into the picutre and help make your home look perfect for the market. We recommend taking photos of the finished project to help market the home.

Do you know any photographers?

Yes! We are actually partnered with VM Studios to take any photographs or video of your property. The great thing about the photos and videos, is that it can be used to market your property online and other trade publications.

Is home staging effective and I will recover my investment?

Very effective! If you have seen model homes for a new neighborhood, they are always furnished and staged to sell. It works!

My realtor gave me some enhancement tips and suggestions when he/she first toured the home. Why should I hire a professional stager?

Real Estate Agents are great, sometimes they know what is best, but most of the time they really do not know. What they do know is how to market a property, negotiate for you, and do all the paper work for you so that money is exchanged in closing. But as a full time home stager I see this day in and day out, I know what works and what does not work. If you have a lighting issue, you call an electrician. If you are trying to sell your home, you call an agent. If you are trying to stage your home, you call us. 🙂
